Gary Stewart was a legend in Texas he was born here in small town Fort Pierce Florida and is a legend here. Until he got with Willy Nelson and started doing coke and lost his ass. he came back home where his mother and sister died and then he commited suicide. My parents live down the street form where he was raised and later died. I herd in Texas like here every bar that has a juke box has a Stewart cd in it.

I've always kind of viewed this song as the theme for the Renegade crew, although this isn't exactly their type of music. But check it out.

Zakk Wylde and Dimebag Darrell were really good friends. Zakk wrote this song for Dimebag. You can tell how close of friends they were. I have a more personal aspect of this song my cousin was killed by a train and we had his memorial at a river where we poured some of his ashes out he loved the river and this song holds a special place in my heart for both dimebag and peter.
