Just a thought

Earlier a group of us were playing MM BTB and on the other team was another clan that wore the same emblem. Although we were a clan also, we didnt look like it. The ODST's had their emblem and the rest wore the normal emblem. To me we didnt look like a clan and to the other clan we probably looked like 2 clans. And this rubs me the wrong way...

therefor i have a few suggestions that i want EVERYONE to think about:

1. EVERYONE wearing normal clan emblem, and then have the ODST's wear ODST Armor to symbolize they belong to the ODST Squad in our clan

2. Changing the ODST emblem to match the normal emblem better

3. Changing the clan emblem to better match everyone

I personally like #1 better but plz let me know what you guys think.

I liked the idea of the ODSTs having their own emblem, but in cases like the one discribed above, we need everyone in the same emblem.

Like Wolfe and Raven said it is hard to miss an ODST but if people want special emblem for being an ODST. we could do the clan emblem with the white Phoenix with the secondary being steel and the outline being the Sage. That way it is an identical emblem but the background is steel...and i think it gives it an ODST look just by changing the colors.

I could be wrong, but I believe the emblem that Wolfe and I came up with only requires a background change for the different groups.

ONI gets a WHITE background, High Command is RED, ODST would be BLACK. Officers get BLUE background, NCOs are YELLOW. Not GOLD though, that's Lord Wolfe's bakground color.

Why don't we change the color of the Phoenix in our emblem for ODST's? This way people can tell we're in the same clan, but you can also tell a slight difference in the class of soldier.

Raven, NCO's are some variant of orange.

And jumper, steel phoenix for ODST's.

So steel Phoenix and what color background?

The emblem is a cool idea. Please though, don't make me change my Spartan armor color. I love the way it is now.

For ODST's it will be the standard emblem, just with a steel emblem primary (the phoenix)

Yer kinda right stand. For anyone in the ODST Squad with the ranks of, SGT, SSGT, GSGT, & 1SGT, the background emblem color will be an orange and the emblem primary color will be steel. For anyone in the ODST Squad with the ranks of, MSGT, MGYS, SGTM, & SMMC, the emblem background and the emblem primary will both be steel.

And we can make it the same for anyone above those ranks as well. Such as, my current emblem. I have the steel pheonix with the white background. I may have given the SL position away, but I am STILL ODST.

And FYI - The Pheonix is the symbol of the Spartans.

I think it's an eagle, like on coins. Just a little different though. The emblem is a phoenix. Big difference. One's typically on fire lol

So you want a steel Phoenix, and what do you want for the shield secondary color on the phoenix emblem and on the shield background color?
