by So you want a promotion. Here in the UNSC Marine Corps we promote people based on their activity, both in game and here on the website. When you're on XBL invite clan members to play with you, start a party chat and find out whats goin on with people. Recruiting is a big part of what we base promotions on. But it doesn't end at just recruiting, you have to make sure to show recruits around the site, help them enlist and then show them the introductions page. Make sure no new members go inactive, and if they do try to find out why.
You want to be a leader, prove yourself as someone who can take command and will work twice as hard as everyone else. Our leaders are relied upon HEAVILY, by many members for many reasons. High levels of activity are a requirement for all leaders, as well as a proven loyalty for the Marine Corps. EACH leader must be consistantly active for at LEAST 2 weeks before even bein considered for a leadership role. On top of these requirements, each leader MUST be mature and respectful. Even leaders must respect their superiors.
And for both of these, once a promotion or leadership role has been given, activity, loyalty, maturity, and recruiting must not stop or even decrease, if anything it should increase. We are examples for every other member, and we must be positive role models.
